Handpicked by our Master Distiller Bill White, each cask chosen for Inchmurrin Madeira Wood Finish undergoes an exclusive maturation in traditional American oak whisky barrels. Following this, a unique marrying process takes place as the whisky is further matured in casks previously used for crafting Madeira wine.
This finishing touch with Madeira wood enhances the delightful flavors of orchard fruits like peach and pear, while notes of marzipan and nutmeg come forward, imparting a dry nuttiness to the lingering oak finish. To preserve its distinct character, Inchmurrin Madeira Wood Finish remains non chill-filtered, just as nature intended.
