Description

Absolut Vodka is a brand of vodka that practices a one-source production philosophy whereby all production takes place in or around the village of Ahus, in southern Sweden. The vodka brand was established in 1879 by Lars Olsson Smith in the very same village and has become one of the largest brands of spirits in the world, bottled at the standard 40% ABV and sold in 126 countries.

Absolut Vodka is made exclusively from natural ingredients and unlike some other vodka brands, does not contain any added sugar. Absolut uses locally-grown winter wheat and water sources from around the village. Smith the founder invented a method that removes contaminants such as glut in the spirit and has not been changed today.
