Description
The Founder of Johnnie Walker brand was John Walker, a grocer. Johnnie Walker is now owned by Diageo that originated in the Scottish burgh of Kilmarnock in East Ayrshire. After the death of John Walker in 1859, the brand was taken over by his son, Alexander Walker, who helped turn it into the global super power that it is today. It is now the most widely distributed brand of blended Scotch whisky in the world, sold in almost every country.
Johnnie Walker Black Label Reserve was created in the year 1820 under the name “Walker’s Extra Old Highland Whisky”. It was repackaged and relaunched in 1909 under the new name Black Label. The exact formula for the blend is unknown but it is said to contain approximately forty single malts and grain whisky that are aged for at least twelve years.
Johnnie Walker Black Label Reserve is a blended Scotch whisky that is a true icon, recognised as the benchmark for all other deluxe blends, created using only whiskies aged for a minimum of 12 years from the four corners of Scotland.

This is the world’s leading premium Scotch Whisky with a multi-dimensional taste that makes it really versatile.
